Florlet is a photo watermarking tool. This policy applies to the Florlet app and its share extension. It explains how photos, photo information, and other data are handled, and how you can manage them. Photo previews and watermark compositing happen on your device. Florlet has no user accounts, offers no photo upload service, and integrates no advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs.
1. Photos and Access Permissions
Single-photo import uses the system photo picker, and Florlet receives only the content you select. Browsing your photo library requires photo access permission. With limited access, Florlet can read only the photos allowed by the system. Saving finished photos requires permission to add photos. It creates new copies in the Florlet album without overwriting the originals.
When Live Photo preservation is on, Florlet processes the original photo, its motion clip, and existing audio on your device. It does not use the camera or microphone to record content. If you deny photo library access, you can still use single-photo import where allowed by the system, or try the sample.
2. Photo Information and Watermark Content
To create watermarks, Florlet may read the camera and lens models, camera settings, dates, and GPS coordinates already stored in a photo. This information is used for on-device previewing, editing, and export. Missing photo information is not filled in using your current device or the current time.
Your signatures, titles, manually entered locations, and selected logos appear in the finished photo according to your choices. Saved copies keep the original capture date by default. You can change this to the time of saving in settings.
3. Location and GPS
Location watermarks are off by default, as are GPS preservation when saving and when sharing. These three controls are independent. Florlet does not request your device’s current location. If location watermarks are on and a photo contains coordinates, Apple’s geocoding service converts them into a city name. This may use the internet, and Apple processes the coordinates and request-related information.
Your device caches up to 64 photo-coordinate-to-city results, including coordinates, language, and last-used time. There is no fixed expiration period. When the limit is reached, the least recently used entries are replaced. You can delete them in Settings → Photo Access → Clear Location Cache.
Manually entered locations are visible text and do not create GPS data. Turning off GPS preservation does not remove location text already embedded in the image. Before sharing, check the image and the relevant GPS settings.
4. Local Storage and Retention
Copies of logos, signatures, recent watermark configurations, and export preferences are stored on your device and shared with the Florlet share extension. They remain until you delete, reset, or change them. Removing a logo does not delete the original file you imported.
To speed up photo library browsing and filtering, Florlet also stores photo identifiers, type classifications, query results, and scan progress locally. These indexes do not store photo images or GPS coordinates. They are updated or rebuilt according to your photo library, permissions, and filter state.
Importing, previewing, and exporting may create local working files or caches. Relevant export files are cleaned up after sharing ends. Leftover export files older than 24 hours are cleaned up on a later launch. Finished photos saved to your photo library are managed by you and are not removed with temporary files.
Florlet does not provide its own cloud sync. System backups, device migration, and iCloud Photos may retain or sync related content according to your Apple settings. These are managed by the system and your backup settings.
5. Pro Purchases and Apple Services
Pro purchases and restores are handled by Apple StoreKit. Florlet uses product, transaction, expiration, and revocation information verified by Apple to confirm access. It does not access your payment card details or create its own developer payment profile. Apple handles Apple Account, payment, and transaction records under its policies.
The system may download original photos and Live Photo resources from iCloud over the internet. Apple Photos, geocoding, App Store, and system diagnostics services are governed by Apple’s privacy policies and your system settings.
6. Sharing and Feedback
Finished photos are passed to the system share sheet and the receiving app, service, or contact you choose only when you initiate sharing. Recipients handle content under their own rules. Copies saved by recipients are not deleted when Florlet cleans up temporary files. Florlet does not sell personal information or provide photos or usage records to advertisers.
“Share Version Summary” generates only the app version, build number, and system version. It does not automatically attach photos, locations, or camera settings, and does not send anything automatically. Any description, attachments, and contact details you add are handled by your chosen sending channel. Feedback received by the developer is used only for communication, troubleshooting, and handling your requests. It is retained only for as long as needed for those purposes or as required by applicable law.
7. Your Choices and Data Management
You can change or revoke photo permissions in system settings, remove saved logos and signatures in Settings → My Assets, clear the city cache on the Photo Access page, and delete exported copies in the Photos app. Deleting assets does not remove watermark text already embedded in finished photos.
Deleting the app can remove its local data. Using the system’s “Offload App” feature may retain documents and data. Photo library content, system backups, and Apple transaction records must be managed separately. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription. Florlet has no user account to close. For feedback you voluntarily submit, you can request access, correction, or deletion through the channel you originally used.
8. Minors’ Privacy
Florlet does not ask for your age and is not intended to collect information about minors. Minors should use photo, sharing, and purchasing features with guidance from a parent or guardian, and avoid disclosing sensitive personal information in photos, signatures, or feedback. Parents or guardians may submit privacy requests about voluntarily submitted feedback through support channels.
9. Policy Updates and Contact
This policy may be updated when features or data handling practices change. The update date will be shown on this page. Changes involving new permissions or purposes will be explained when the relevant feature is enabled, and authorization will be obtained as required.
For questions about this policy or data handling, use the contact and feedback options below. The developer’s identity and official support channels are those listed on Florlet’s App Store product page.
